He asks the pavilion master if he can continue to ask for more desires, and he is told that he can request up to 190 bottles. The pavilion master tells him that the number of desires he has consumed is far greater than any of the thunder disciples. The senior yi asks why the senior meng didn't cross the life-and-death barrier. He says that the reason is that if he were a demon, he would want to be reborn as soon as he is ready. Senior meng says that he wants to become a divine demon because he has a lot of time to devote to his refinement practice. He also says that his body is strong enough to handle the two hundred and ten bottles of desires.
