About This Chapter
Now that he's deep in space, the albino is happy to be back in the real world. He's leading a bunch of young people to the promised future. He tells us that his grandmother's teeth made the walls of her house covered in gold, so she started breeding the ganotrophins, and that his little sister, onyx, came along and waved her arms. He vows to work tirelessly until he can pay a "fleet of mercenaries" to "cut off your balls" . He says that he spent the first 12 years of his life in a "huge and desolate house" , where his mother loved only "almagro," and he was confined to a "storage room," where "lots of old computers" were rusting away. The only thing kept him alive was the virtual universe, which he calls "the wonders of the universe." He tells his mother that he has important clients who trust him, but he doesn't know if they'll be able to work with him. She looks at him in silence, trying to gauge his sincerity of his words. He knows that his mother is in negotiations with a "technopriest training school," but he can't see a sign of an agreement. He wants to go back to his old school.
