About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that El Donazo is trying to build a new society based on healthy human relationships instead of scientific advances. When he sees a green planet orbiting a dying sun, he thinks he's found the perfect place to start. He gives permission to his followers to explore the new world, but they're disappointed to find that it's deserted. El Donzo tells his followers that he is the only one living on the new planet, and that he'll make them equal so that they can hear him when he speaks. He tells them that the green planet isn't necessarily paradise or evil, but that light doesn't nourish them. They decide to go to a sun that's more powerful than the one they've just seen, and they once again go on their quest to find a new home. El donzo tells them to go back to their old world, because the place is inhuman and they'll never be able to live there again. He's about to give up when he hears the voice of the spirit of Saint severo deloyola, who tells him that he can't attack the monster at a distance because distance is his enemy.
