In the middle of the night, the prophet wakes up and tells his companions that he has been working nonstop for the past two hours. He tells them to hurry up and drink their fill of water. He says that the earth worm is no good to them now, and that he will devour them if they do not stop working. He also tells them not to worry about their son, who has already been killed by the prophet. The prophet says that if they want to save their son , they should pretend to submit to his power. He then tells them that they should shut their son up too, because he is already killing five warriors today. He warns them that the mother will not wake up, because they are coming for them. They are going to kill her, he says, and she will not be able to wake up. He goes on to tell them that he joined the River of Death, which was going to the central planet. He joined the river and joined the other techno temples, which were heading towards the central world. The other technos, he tells them, have stopped working, and the fortress has fallen to the ground. He asks them to pray for him, saying that he is now a supreme technopriest. They tell him that they will have to wait until tomorrow for him to come back.
