About This Chapter
This chapter is the third in a series of three-part stories. The first two are set in the future, and the third is set on a ship on the long journey to exile. The protagonist, an albino man, wakes up in the middle of the night to find a snoring old man inside the ship. The old man has renounced women his whole life, and he has been corrupted by the "excess of science." The protagonist is disgusted by the old man's behavior, but he does not understand why he should be so old and ugly. He says that he is an albino, and that life has only just begun. He is born to flourish at least nine hundred years. He hopes that his old man does not see him, but if he does, he is going to vomit. He wishes that he could die without knowing what he has done. He wants to take over the ship and take back control of it. He thinks that it is time for youth to give way to old age. He believes that old age must be given way to youth. He also believes that the time has come to take back the ship from the "techno-techno zone." He is disgusted that an old man who renounces women his entire life has corrupted the products of the native galaxy with "an excess of science," and he wants the ship to return to the techno-tech zone.
