The next morning, the narrator tries to find out what the young man wants from his life. He wants to know how to invest, how to train himself, and how to get out of debt. The young man says that he doesn't want to be a burden to his family, and that he's happy to be off of work. The narrator says that the only thing he wants from life is to be happy. He's not interested in money, he wants to be free of debt, and he'd like to be able to do whatever he wants with his life without worrying about what others think of him.
