Mr. Lee, Lee's boss, comes to visit him in his new apartment. He's surprised to find that Lee is living in such a small house, since his father has cut him off from his salary. He tells Lee that he doesn't have to worry about food, since he's learned how to cook from scratch. He also tells him that he can cook anything he wants, even if it's not a fancy meal. Lee says that's cool, and he hopes that he'll enjoy the meal. He says that he hopes his boss will enjoy the food, too, because he thinks it'll make him feel better about his situation. He then tells Lee to cough and eat, and jokes that he has to bring up the subject of coughs and coughs all the time. Lee asks if this is a joke or not, and is told that it is. He asks if he can bring it up again, but is told to cough. Lee tells him to cough, and then he asks if there's anything else he can do to spice up the situation. Then he says that, as his subordinate, he can't do anything without his permission. He wants to make a bet with Lee, and asks if they can make a sound first, which is a polite way of saying that they're going to do something without his consent. Lee agrees, and the two start working together.
