In this chapter, we learn that the bear has been sneaking into King Kong's house for some time. He's been using the bear's bloodline to blow his cover. The two of them have had a good time, and they're going to meet again soon. The bear is using his crossbow to attack the king. The crossbow has a powerful poison effect, and it spreads all over the king's body. The king is horrified. He can't figure out how his shield could have been breached so easily. He also realizes that the king is using the same demon-god transformation that he used to kill the bear. He tells the king that he and the king share a goal, and that they both need to protect each other. The only thing that matters is that both of them are human beings, just like the king and the bear, and the only thing they need to do is reveal their identities to each other in the future. In other words, if there's only one person in the world who's not willing to hurt the king, that person is the king himself.
