The Governess and the Governess's servant, Miss Endou, arrive at the hotel and are greeted by the sound of thunder and the groans of the servants. Miss Endu asks Miss Endo to put her luggage in the luggage room so that she can go to her room. She tells the servant that she is nervous because she is on her first business trip in a long time and she is looking forward to the trip. The servant tells her that he has just checked in and that the thunder is so bad that he cannot sleep at all. He is surprised to find that his room is noisy and he cannot get in because he forgot to put his key in the room. He says that he can sleep on his sofa instead of in his room. The servants tell him that they can share his bed and that he is welcome to sleep on the couch instead. The two women discuss how they feel relieved that they are going on their business trip together and that they will be able to spend more time with each other. They discuss the possibility of the two women having sex while on business and the fact that they both want to do it.
