This chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which the narrator complains about his sadistic secretary, who always makes him come to see her. The narrator complains that he has been drinking too much, and he finally hears the secretary's voice, which makes him want to tie the secretary down. The secretary tells the narrator that he can't do anything without the help of the secretary, and the narrator says that he wishes the secretary could stay like this, "ignorant and innocent," and that he would be incapable of doing anything without him there to guide him. He then tells the secretary that he's going to "spike in" as deep as he can, and that the only person he needs inside of him is him.
