In this chapter, we learn that King Henry VIII belongs to the "beast king" , and that he's going to have to use his magic to get rid of the monster. The monster is going to die if he doesn't get his way, says the monster, and the only way to stop him is to kill him. He's not going to be able to do that if we don't help him, the monster says, and he begs the king to let him use his power to save him. The king says that he can, but he'll have to kill the monster first.
