This chapter's epigraph is from the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream." It's a soliloquy from Shakespeare's "Henry IV Part I," in which the king laments the fact that he's lost the battle of the sexes. He laments that he doesn't have "the time" to play with the other men, who are "playing with me" .
