In this chapter, we learn that King Varuna left a note for the beast king, asking him to come back the next day. The beast king replies that he is fully aware that the king is not at fault, but that they need to have more guardsmen on the ground. Varuna goes out to search for the king, but the scent of the scent on the boar's skin makes him want to run away. He tells the beast that he feels fine, and that if he had taken on too many men on his own, he would have been screwed. He praises his new friend, saying that he was quiet and meek when he first met him, but when he got serious, he became a "total power house." The beast asks the king if he wants to see the beast again, and the king says that he would love to see him.
