In this chapter, we find out that the beast king belongs to the "old world" , which means that he is either dead or has gone back to his "old" world. In other words, he's either gone to another world or he has returned to the old world. The only problem, says the king, is that he doesn't know what happened to rintaro. He's memorized his soul in the crystal, so he'll be able to track down his master once more. The king promises to go back to the new world with his own hands, and he kisses his master goodbye.
