The narrator tells us that he's heard that the chief of Anemone is in love with a woman, but he doesn't seem to be interested in the idea of romance. He's just been hanging out with his friends. The narrator says that she's had seven different boyfriends in her life, but none of them has ever been serious. She's not sure why she split up with one of them, though. She says that her boyfriend from college had a job offer, but they went long distance. One day, she went to visit him without telling him, and he was sorry for being lonely. He said that men are weak, and that it's better to be closer to someone than to be far away.
