The narrator tells us that he's happy that Hiroshi and Mishima are going to work for Irodori. He's also happy that they'll be able to get along so well since they're so different from each other. The narrator says that it's great to see two young people get along, since they don't always get along. He also says that he can't wait to get to work with Hiroshi, because he thinks he can stand on his own. Hiroshi agrees, saying that he looks forward to the next six months working with him. He thinks that he tripped over his own feet a lot the other day, and he wonders if Chief Tetakoro sees him in his butt. He says he'll do him a favor by not dragging him down with him the next time he slips.
