Okay, now we're introduced to the "killer boss" of this chapter. He's the boss of the company, and he's got a lot of power over his employees. The killer boss wants to know what the "give and take" is between the two of them, so he asks the female boss what she's thinking about. The female boss says that she doesn't want to be a "female repellent" , so she wants to talk to the male boss about it. The male boss is all, "dude, you're right, I don't know what to do with this." The boss says, "okay, I'll tell you what I'm thinking about" . The boss then asks her to do something for the sake of both of them. He wants to make sure that they have an "air-conditioned" place to work, so they can work together. She wants to do this by creating an atmosphere in the workplace, so that they won't be tempted to go out, get involved in romantic things, or do anything else that would make them look bad. She's not going to do that, though, because she already has an air-conditioned place in her office.
