We learn that their father is away on business, but that he is happy to be home. The two are interrupted by the sound of a knock at the door. It is Hiroyuki's father, who has returned from his business trip, and he tells them that he will be home soon. Hiroyuki tells his wife that he has a favor for her: he wants her to stand in front of the door while he and his boss have a drink. She agrees, and they begin to drink together.
