After nine tails disappear, Crick wakes up to find himself alone with zeroichi. Crick tells him that he hasn't been spending much time with him lately because he's been so busy with his sentence. He tells him to go back to his room and get some sleep. He's worried that his parents are spending too much money, and he wonders if she'll be able to pay off her debts if she doesn't get work done. He also tells Crick that he has a natural hair color, which means he inherited it from his grandfather, and that he worries about it all the time. He asks Crick if he can borrow money to pay for his sentence, but Crick says he can't, since he'll have to pay back the money when he gets back to work. He says that he used to be totally uninterested in the world, but now he has an interest in it, and Crick is sure that some contact with the natural world will revive his memories of his grandfather.
