In this chapter, we learn that the princess and the hans have grown close under the king's rule, and that the king wishes that they could continue to prosper under his rule. The king tells the two that he is sorry that they have grown so close, but he is not accusing them of anything. He says that they are his family, and he is proud of them for using their powers to protect him and his family. He tells them that he will take care of the monster if they can't save the princess.
