This is a locked chapterVol.1 Chapter 4: The Twelve Huntsmen
About This Chapter
In this short scene, the prince and the young man discuss their love for one another. The prince tells his friend that he must return to his father's country to fulfill his last wish: he has chosen to marry the prince's wife. The young man tells the prince that he wishes that the princess would know that he will never love anyone again and that his heart is locked in a state of "chop-clip" . He also tells him that one of the hunters at the hunting grounds is a woman disguised as a man, who has slipped on some peas and placed a spinning wheel in front of the prince. The king is shocked at the sight of the woman, but the prince assures him that she is not a man but a "simple hunter" who has been waiting for the king for a long time. He tells her that the hunt is over and that it is now his time to be "a loving and kind" king. He asks the prince to arrange another hunt so that they can see each other again when the princess arrives.
