Breaking through the Calamity

The Wantian sect leader and his son, the disciple of the immortal Linyang, are shocked to learn that the young man has been experimenting with the secret of the ancient gate's alchemy. Linyang is furious and demands that the Wantian leader explain the matter to him. He says that his son and his younger disciples have been trying to use the secret for their own ends, and that he cannot stop them. The wantian leader says that Linyang would do anything to help the sect, just as he did when he took the unknown pill. The young man says that if the wantian sect allowed a junior on the foundation to mock them like this, he would not be able to resist the aftermath. He asks his father why he isn't helping him. The father says that the root cause of the problem was a spirit rank technique and that the practitioner is only on the refining phase. What he has refined is a poisonous pill that can make people faint and reduce inborn vitality. The two sects have bound themselves together, so they shouldn't do anything like that. He goes to summon the other disciples and tells them to call for the cure. He is afraid that things are going in the wrong direction.
