In this chapter, we learn that Linyang originally possessed a thousand disaster body. Linyang flips through the scrolls of the Wantian sect and finds out that he was actually the one who caused the drought in Linyang's village. He also explains that he protected Linyang from the heavenly tribulation because he protected him from being killed by the secular world. This is why Linyang is still alive, because he's protected himself from the "secular world" . He's so happy that he doesn't even have to think about the "heavenly tribulation" anymore. The only thing that's keeping him alive is the golden-finger system, which is supposed to help him transmigrate to the other side of the world. He opens the starter pack to find out that the "daily disaster" isn't nearly as powerful as he thought it would be.
