About This Chapter
In the midst of the battle, the demon says that no one can fight him for three days, three nights, and ten thousand years. He says that the gods of agriculture have cleared the battlefield and that he will stay in the "infernal hell" for the rest of his life. He asks if he repents, and he says that if he does, he will spare the life of all the other demons. He tells the demon that he can give him a bit of sunlight to relieve his boredom. He wonders what happened to the others, and says that even if they came, he would not be able to meet them. He also says that he is still so tender, and that she must be delicious. Finally, he says, he is willing to go out. He thinks that the sun will be hiss from now on. The demon wonders if it is strange that the God of creation did not kill aotian and imprison him in "infernal hell indefinitely" instead. The god of creation was merciful, he thinks, and gave him the chance to reform.
