About This Chapter
The monk tells the story of how he came to be a monk at Mount Meru, a sacred mountain in the Buddhist tradition. He has lived there for over a thousand years, and every morning he hears the bell of the temple and goes to sleep there. The monk says that he has seen the ring of the goddess of agriculture glow, which means that the seal of the seal has been destroyed. He says that among the four demons is the demon of the ji family, which is the hope for survival for the family's dwelling place. He tells the monk that he is the lord of mount Meru and has lived at the mountain for more than 1,000 years. He explains that he wakes up every morning at sunrise and at dusk at the temple, and he sleeps at night after the temple bell. He describes the monks who live on the mountain as being ugly, but he says that the monk named Yiku has never fooled him all these years. When the monk tells him that the business of shaolin, the martial arts, is getting worse, the monk says he will make the monk cry for his mother the next day.
