Back at the hotel, Cai tells the others that Mi-Ling has gone missing and that they should call the police. They say that they'll sue the hotel if they don't find her, but Cai tells them to calm down. He asks the others if they've seen a little girl wearing pink. It could be Mi-Li, and he asks if they saw meteors that night. Cai says that he saw a meteor in the direction of Mi-Lin's house. Cai tells him that he's going to go look for her, and Cai asks if he colluded with the others to leave her in the mountains. He says that's not true, and that she'll never look at him again. Cai asks him to go find her and he agrees. Cai promises to pay him the money if he doesn't show up again.
