Back at school, Mi-Li tries to cheer up her little brat by giving her an after-school treat: a cake. She's worried that she's having a hard time concentrating on her homework, so she gives her a piece of cake and tells her to eat it by herself. She also tells her that she has to analyze all of her questions by herself, because she is at the bottom of the class in math. She tells her brat that he's been easy with her lately, but now that she starts to be arrogant, he starts to lose interest in his homework. He asks if he can watch for a bit longer so that he can get his homework done right away. He also tells his mom that the assistant teacher is looking for him, and Mi-Lia tells him not to tell her about it. She then tells him that she suspects that he is having depression, and she suggests that he give her a gift: a ring to wear as a reminder that she is not alone.
