About This Chapter
The next morning, the Governess complains to her husband that she has been out all night and that he has not come home. The Governess blames herself for not spending more time with her daughter. She says that she will soon reach adulthood and that she does not want to leave her daughter alone. She tells her husband to go to work and not to hinder him. She also tells him that she is in the middle of a business trip and that the company has asked her to submit the manuscript in a month. When she hears her daughter's voice, she exclaims that she looks beautiful in her new clothes and that her mother has forgotten about her. She asks her husband if she is doing well at the house of her friend, and he replies that she had bad intentions. He tells her that he took her home and she is now living with him. He asks if she was picked up by her father, and she replies that he was, but that she was the one controlling his mood. He says that he hopes that she can stay with him so that he will not have to eat out from now on
