In this chapter, we learn that Nemo chose to be immortal, and that's all he needs to do. He's got a plan: he's going to destroy the machine that makes him immortal. The only problem, he says, is that the people of Cuttletown are going to try and figure out what's wrong with the machine. Nemo wants to go check it out himself.
