In this chapter, Desdemona explains that she chose to be chosen to be immortal. She feels that she is in heaven, but that the forest is under attack, and that she must use her powers to stop the monsters. She tells the monster that she has lost her bracelet in the forest, and asks the monster to come out and help her find it. The monster says that he will try his best to kill as many of the monsters as he can in three seconds, but he is not sure if he can hold the bracelet for even three seconds when he is in the middle of a battle with so many enemies
