About This Chapter
The monster tells Orgon to listen to what he has to say. He says that he is happy, and he doesn't want death to end his life. He wants to save his life for Orgon. The monster says that the primal universe has contracted, causing it to be completely destroyed. The primal universe is made up of creatures who once lived there, but now live in the universes of the techno-technos, who have replaced it with a "vulgar fuel" . The epiphyte, the primordial universe's voice, is the voice of the universe, and it belongs to Orgon's universe. Orgon tells the monster that he has turned his second son into a metabaron so that he can kill him if he should die. He asks Orgon not to leave him alone, but Orgon says that there must be a way for him to survive. He tells the creature that he was feeling better, and Orgon asks if he is holding onto anything. The creature says that it must have been a healing virtue for him, and that he almost killed a "techno- cardinal" , but he should know that he did not follow orders. The two men agree to form an alliance.
