Carla and Wendell are talking about the cakes they're eating. Carla says that she's heard that the dragon is stealing girls from the town where he's supposed to show up. Wendy thinks that's a good rumor, but Carla points out that it's not just a rumor. She thinks that the flowers are all over town and that the girl is imitating all the male characters she knows. She says that the big guy is just playing tricks on her and that she can't believe that he'd be so nice to a girl like that. She wonders if there's been a lot of weird things going on lately in town. She's sure that some people have gone missing, but she doesn't think that they'd notice anything unusual. She also thinks that it must be really hard to be a guard when you're supposed to be on duty all the time. She tells Carla that if he can help her, he'll let her in on the secret.
