Agon, the doctor in the village of Nanalu, has received a strange request for a dragon-slayer to help him fight a nearby dragon. Agon is worried that he will be used by a bad man, but he decides to go to the village anyway. He tells the girl that he is the only wizard in Nanalu and that he has to show everyone that he can do his job on his own. The girl is so happy to see him that she asks him if he is a friend of her husband, and he tells her he is. He also tells her that the town was founded by a dragon that was defeated in a nearby valley. She asks if he would go with her to look after her. He says he will, but that it is a "creepy" thing to do. She tells him not to go, as it would be creepy. She also tells him to go home.
