In this chapter, we're introduced to a third-grader named Man-Mei, who is obsessed with destroying his teacher's achievements. He's obsessed with the fact that he has to copy his homework every day, and that he can do it with his feet instead of using his hands to do the work. He thinks that doing his homework by his feet is a better way to do it, because it's easier and faster, and he doesn't have to worry about getting caught up in the moment. He also thinks that the test he took with his hands failed because he used his hands instead of his feet. He decides that he's going to destroy his teacher by eating chocolate, which he thinks will make him look younger and healthier than he actually is. He tells his teacher to hurry up so that he and his friend don't get caught in a traffic jam, and then he tells his friend to run away as fast as he can, because he'll look young and healthy after eating chocolate. The teacher agrees, and the two of them run away together.
