In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named jousuke. He is a member of the ten-ninja group known as the "Kouga Manjidani." . . The chapter opens with a description of the mist that covers the area around the lake. It is clear that the mist is a reflection of the lake's currents. The mist is so thick that it is difficult to see clearly. The fog is thick and thick thick, and it is hard to see where the mist has come from. Akeginu appears in the mist and tries to kill him, but he is able to escape. He thinks that she is trying to protect her pride, and that she must be trying to defend herself. He realizes that he has lost control of the situation and that he is the one who is being punished. He wonders if he can still be alive, and wonders why he is being so cruel. He tries to find a way to wash the blood off of his body, but is unable to find it. He imagines that he might find a well to wash his blood off. The water in the lake reminds him of the salt shed, and he thinks that it must have been the room where he was talking to . He remembers that he was trying to change shape to attack the man in the room, but was unable to do so because the mist was so thick. He believes that he must have absorbed some of the water from the mist, and thinks that he slipped into the mist. He also remembers that the man who is talking to him is the same man who said that the two of them would be staying at the lake for a while. He has a bad feeling that he will not be able to see the girl.
