While waiting for sunrise, the cat asks his master if he will tell them about himself. The cat says that he only did it to protect his master, and that his master's castle will be destroyed. He says that the battle was just like a cat--people fight like cats, just like cats fight like humans. He tells the cat to give up the katana, but the cat refuses, saying that it must mean a lot to his master. He promises to teach him how to fight in the streets.
