In this chapter, we learn that Hirohito's sword has been caught, and that nora Chiyo has been paralyzed by the shock of the loss of his sword. The two of them decide to go back to the castle, and Hirohio tells nora that he has an intense urge to help him. He tells her that if she tries to find out who he is, she will die, and he tells her to stop trying to figure him out, because he carries the same scent as the wanted posters. He also tells her not to worry about arresting the three wanted posters, because they are too much to handle, and they fall into the river. They decide to camp for the night and wait for sunrise.
