About This Chapter
Flap flap flap, chapter 5 . pompey sassey iii . flap flap fix for crying out Loud. The same old scene, again. the same old cat. The cat tells us that he has been left alone in the courtyard for the past day, and that no one cares about him anymore. He says that many people have died in the war, and many cats have been killed in the cross fire. Money, honor, and the like are the only things that matter anymore, and cats are manipulated by them with no value, and they kill their own. He adds that he is one of the "idiots" who has been kept in the world by a person, and he says that a cat who was kept by such a person can never live there again. They end up like they die in a ditch. The priest tells him that he can send him off with a proper send-off, but that he must not pass by his father with such an attitude. He tells the cat that he picked up a kitten off the street, assuming that its owner was there. The kitten says that he did not want to hide, but it will be awhile before he can fight fair, thanks to the cat. Since he walked off with his sword, he had no other options.
