In this chapter, the protagonist is introduced to the role of the sheep. He explains that he is in the middle of a huge forest, surrounded by walls. The protagonist is confident that he will be able to defeat the enemy, but he worries that the enemy will try to trap him in the forest and kill him. He asks the protagonist if he would be better off as a "wolf" instead of a "sheep," and the protagonist replies that it would be easier for him to protect him, since he can guarantee that he won't be killed. He then points out that there are only 120 guilds left, and he wonders if the director can zoom in on the remaining teams. He wonders if they are from "glovilion" or "promised light." The director finally shows them the expert of their guilds, and they exclaim that they have killed 116 enemies. They wonder why the protagonist has been alone. He is about to face off with another team. He says that he has been fighting with "trash" along the way, and that they bump into a member of the enemy team.
