About This Chapter
In this short scene, the main character explains that he needs the help of his friends in order to participate in the upcoming guild wars. He explains that since he is a level five thief, he would be a target in the guild wars, and that he has his own difficulties. He suggests that the two of them join as friends first, and then he will consider her request. He also explains that the entrance exam is a "piece of cake" for the thief. He says that he will keep the cheap assassin's set of weapons private, or he will refuse to distribute them to his friends. He adds that the difficulty of the forest drops the amount of equipment he needs, but that he does not need them. He has reached level 3, and he and his friends will meet tomorrow to sweep the forest until he has all of the equipment. Before he reaches level 6, he says, he will need to take down a horde of enemies using the terrain, which he will be able to do by using the new cheap assassin set. He asks if he can open the old chest, which has a curse on its owner for six hours.
