In this chapter, we learn that the thief is sailing through the "suspicious sea" with his master. They are approaching the final level of the stream, which is named "the spurious sea" because it is full of strange creatures. They must attack and defend against these creatures at once, and the only way to do so is to sail on a boat. The thief wonders why he is the only one on the boat. He wants to be with the master. He tells the others to stay on their guard, and warns them that they must first destroy the creatures that are floating in the water. He then tells them that he can predict what the master is going to do in the future. He says that they can cut off the creature's energy once they destroy its summoned minions and crystals. They can then use the lightning to destroy its eyes.
