Lap 44: Hiroshi's turn. The rain stops just as quickly as it started, and Hiroshi can see that it's not going to stop for long. He's going to pull even further ahead of takadai, who's passed him again. Hiroshi realizes that the tires on the straight ahead are already starting to heat up, and he's worried that they'll wear out before he can catch up. He asks Tamura if there's a way to catch up to him, and Tamura says that he'll try to catch him on the same straight, but Hiroshi has already passed him. Tamura tells Hiroshi that he can't catch him, because the tires are already drying out, and that's when Hiroshi will have to stop. He says it'll be his turn to catch Hiroshi, and then Hiroshi says that Tamura is already behind him, so they're going to have to hand it over to him. He tells Tamura that he has two laps to go, so he'd better get it together before he has to go back to Hiroshi. He can hear the heavy metal of the rain on the road ahead, and it reminds him of playing with a guitar.
