It's been a while since we've heard from Tommo, but he's feeling pretty good about his chances. He's got a good chance of winning the race, he says, if only he can keep up with the other guys on the track. He wants to make sure that his wrist doesn't get caught in the guy's gear. He knows that's the only way he'll be able to catch up, and he wants to be sure that the guy can't slip away from him. Tommo's heart skips a beat, and his pulse starts to beat faster. He can tell that this isn't going to go his way, though, because the guy is getting faster every time he passes a turn. He decides to go for it.
