He tells himself that it's because he has a special decoration for the South China People's Liberation Army, one of the top heroes in the world. He also points out that there's a wanted circular in the paper that says that he and his father are doing illegal biological research, and that they've created the scorpion men, the "world's largest villain" . He's so happy that he doesn't want to tell anyone about his father's illegal research.
