The vice-manager asks what the matter is, and the manager replies that everything has been decided in the meeting, and that he disagrees with the manager. He says that if the manager, Mr. Zhang, were present, he would agree with him. The manager says that he hasn't seen the new designs, and wonders how he could jump to a conclusion easily. He tells the vice- manager that he has reported the matter to Mr.zhang, who has agreed that the manager did the right thing. He invites the manager to stay and talk with him, and tells him that he'll treat him to some coffee. The vice manager says he's changed a lot since they last saw each other, and he apologizes for that. He's seen a different side in the man, he says, and thinks highly of him. He promises to contact him if there's any problem, and says he won't take any money from the man. He doesn't want to bother the man again, he tells him.
