In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Covenant" . He is a young man who has just divorced his first wife. He has been living with his parents for a while now, and they have asked him to divorce his second wife. When he tells them that he is not in love with her, they are shocked. They ask him what he means, and he says that he does not love her, and that his parents did not want to divorce him for his own good. He says that his family will use his wife's infidelity to attack him.
