The narrator opens the door to find that the guardian has finally come to look for the missing child. The boy's father is furious that he has allowed his son's friend to come into the house. He tells the boy that the baby is in the house and that they cannot let the boy see the child because it would be hard for them to explain why they allowed the boy to see the baby. When the boy asks if there are other children at the house, the father replies that he likes children too much and that his ringtone is the sound of crying babies. The child's grandfather is also furious that the boy has been allowed to come to the house because he has forgotten that there are children at home. The grandfather says that he will take a call on the boy and the boy tells him that he is so happy that he visited their house and burst out laughing. There is a baby sock on the floor and the child exclaims that he can wear it. The father says that the child is playing with it and that he cannot come close to the baby because he is dying. He says that they should not be afraid of the difficulties they will encounter because their son
