The poison master tells the boy that he is a bastard who has betrayed his master. He tells him that his uncle is still alive and that if the boy doesn't tell him what he did, his uncle will be dead. The kid is shocked and tells the master that he wants to work for him and capture innocent people for his cultivation. The master says that even if he were to die, he would never do such evil things. He gives the kid a pill that he uses to control his disciples. After giving the pill, the kid will feel pain through his body and his heart will feel as if it is burning. The antidote, the master says, will save the kid's life. He shows the kid around the cave.
