In this chapter, we learn that Huo's sister-in-law, Madame Qingzhou, has come to check on his health. She tells Huo that if there is an accident, the government will pay him back. Huo is furious, and he tells Madame Quingzhou that he is not a doctor, and that he will probably die if he does not find a cure for his illness. Madame Quizingzhou tells him to take two doses of self-cultivation pills, and then boil them and give them to him. She also tells him that he should wait for his master to get better before taking any more of the pills.
