The young marshal tells Lingle that he's had some snacks shipped from overseas. Lingle wants to have a snack, but the young man won't let him bring it to him. He's got something else to do, so he'll leave. The young man says that if Lingle doesn't want him to come back with him, he can come back later in the night and continue their journey. The bastard says that he thinks Lingle is scared of him, but Lingle says that's just a dream. He can't believe that he killed the first person he'd ever killed, and that he hasn't had such a dream in a long time.
